Marathon was founded in 1986 by William Arah, Jeremy Hosking and Neil Ostrer. As of 2007, the firm manages over $42b in assets. Marathon Asset Management uses a bottom up style of stock picking, concentrating on capital cycle analysis with a contrarian focus.[1]
